Web design for FACUA
Interviews / Heuristic Evaluation / Online surveys / Benchmarck UX-UI / User analysis / User flows / Information Architecture / User testing / Lo-fi & Hi-Fi Prototyping / Web Style Guide
Redesign of the FACUA website with the aim of improving conversion rates and reducing its focus on news. As lead UX/UI designer, I managed the entire design process, from initial client meetings to final development documentation, with the support of a UI designer for the graphic design.
CHALLENGES
- Create conversation: The user study revealed that the website was very static and needed to foster conversation and interaction.
- Difficult access to help resources, which is one of FACUA’s most important aspects.
- Improve the conversion rate of full members by emphasizing the benefits of legal aid.
- Organize a large amount of information without overwhelming the user.
- Client with a background in web design and development, very involved in the design process, and with outdated ideas about web design.
